Welcome to Reaction Theatre

Happy New Year !

Reaction Theatre is an association based at Secondigny in the Deux Sevres which was formed as a local amateur dramatic group drawing its membership and audience from the Deux Sevres and the Vendée. The Association has now expanded to include a singing group called Keynotes, an art group called The Art Scene and a newly formed Scottish Dancing group.

Our Constitution is shown in full on the About Us page.

See our “What’s On” page for details of our next production.

The Theatre Group

The aim of the group is to put on two productions a year, one in the  spring and one in the  autumn.  Most productions are held at the theatre at Secondigny but occasionally other performances may be held in other theatres.

The Keynotes Singers ,

This group was formed so that people could sing regularly for pleasure and to give performances from time to time. We sing a wide range of English and French songs and meet nearly every Friday afternoon at 2ish in Fenioux at Les Café des Belles Fleurs. Come to a session and see if it’s your cupa tea.

The Art Scene

which is another of our members groups holds weekly meetings, every Friday morning in Secondigny*, and is aimed at introducing people to the delights of painting and drawing and to allow those interested to paint or draw for pleasure and share knowledge and techniques in a friendly and helping group.

The Scottish Dancing Group

meet weekly on a Thursday evening at 7ish in Fenioux at the Café des Belles Fleurs. Come to a session and see if it’s a ‘bru to your liking’.

So, something for everyone, well lots anyway.
